I’m a Massachusettsian, interrupted by a few years in Nashville and Rhode Island. I’ve played piano my whole life, composed since I was 4.

I conducted pit bands at Opryland USA in Nashville and played piano College Light Opera Company pit orchestra, and ran a house band at the Arboretum Restaurant in Providence for 6 years, also played with the band Bougainvillea, and have worked with singers Henrietta Robinson, Will MacMillan, Sayida Rivers Farmer, and Lisa Thorson. I taught songwriting at MIT for many years, and produced an original musical, The Mis-Matched Pair. I currently direct a community chorus of the musical elderly at a Boston area retirement center, and I perform regularly with Will McMillan.

My musical tastes are eclectic.
